Privacy Policy
Scan4ban LLC keeps data handling intentionally lightweight and transparent.
Updated: May 30, 2024
This Privacy Policy outlines the intentionally simple way Scan4ban LLC (“we”, “the Company”) observes, stores and uses the information shared by visitors and customers of the Scan4ban platform.
Records are stored on reputable cloud providers in the European Union and the United States. Data is retained for as long as your account is active or until you request removal and we can reasonably verify the request.
-
Information we notice. We only look at contact details, payment references, telemetry and support messages that you provide in order to use the service. Automatic logs may include approximate device data, timestamps, IP ranges and aggregated event counts that help us keep infrastructure operational.
-
Sources. Data is collected from account forms, API calls, payment processors and voluntary communication with our team. We may enrich those records with internally generated monitoring results tied to your domains.
-
Usage. Information is used to operate the platform, deliver monitoring alerts, troubleshoot incidents and send product updates that relate to your account. We do not sell the data or use it for automated decision making unrelated to the service.
-
Your choices. You may access, update or erase data by reaching out through the Scan4ban support channel in the dashboard. We may ask for additional details to make sure the request originates from an authorized person.
-
Policy updates. We may adjust this policy whenever the product evolves. Substantial changes will be communicated through the dashboard or by email, and use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance.
